Estimate how many songs fit on a device based on your available storage, average song length, and bitrate.
The Audio Storage Calculator shows how much music or audio fits on a phone, card or drive — for seven formats side by side. Compare MP3 at 128/192/320 kbps, AAC 256, FLAC and uncompressed WAV so you can choose a format for your library and a device that is big enough.
Storage is counted in decimal units as drive makers label them (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes), with a note on why operating systems report slightly less.
Tracks = capacity ÷ (bitrate ÷ 8 × track seconds); hours = capacity ÷ (bitrate ÷ 8) ÷ 3600. FLAC is estimated at about 850 kbps average for CD-quality music (it varies by track), 24/96 WAV at 4,608 kbps and CD-quality WAV at 1,411.2 kbps.

About 19,000 at 128 kbps MP3 (3.5 min each) or about 1,700 as CD-quality WAV.
Opus/AAC for small; FLAC for lossless quality.
It's an average-based estimate — real libraries have songs of varying length and bitrate, so your actual count will vary somewhat.
