For portraits, use the Portrait preset (clarity 45%) or manually set clarity between 30-50%. Use higher Shadow Protection (60-70%) to keep skin looking natural and prevent darkening of facial features. This enhances texture in hair and clothing while keeping skin smooth and flattering.
