Make the most of Noor Tasbeeh with these power user tips:
Use the vibration feedback feature to count without looking at your screen - perfect for counting while walking or during other activities.
Dhikr (remembrance of Allah) is one of the most virtuous and easiest acts of worship in Islam. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said:
"The example of the one who remembers Allah and the one who does not is like the example of the living and the dead." (Sahih Bukhari)
Modern research has confirmed what Muslims have known for centuries - dhikr has measurable benefits:
| Dhikr | Minimum Count | Virtue |
|---|---|---|
| SubhanAllah | 33 times | Fills the scales of good deeds |
| Alhamdulillah | 33 times | Completes gratitude to Allah |
| Allahu Akbar | 33 times | Magnifies Allah in the heart |
| La ilaha illallah | 100 times | Equivalent to freeing 10 slaves |
Yes, Noor Tasbeeh Counter is completely free with no hidden charges. We believe in providing spiritual tools accessible to all Muslims worldwide. The app is supported by optional donations and non-intrusive advertisements.
Absolutely! Noor Tasbeeh is designed as a Progressive Web App (PWA) that works completely offline once installed. Your counts and data are stored locally on your device for privacy and offline access.
Navigate to the "Duas" tab and click "Add Custom" button. You can enter the Arabic text (optional), the dua in English, transliteration, translation, and assign a category. Your custom duas will be saved for future use.
Yes, in the Settings tab you'll find Data Management options where you can export all your counts and custom duas as a JSON file. You can import this backup later if you switch devices or need to reset the app.
While designed specifically for Islamic remembrance, you can certainly use the counter for other halal purposes like tracking good deeds, Quran reading goals, or even exercise repetitions. However, we recommend keeping the primary focus on spiritual practices.
