About this tool
A visualizer gives an audio upload something to watch. This one analyses your audio for every frame and draws either a spectrum of music bars, which rise and fall with the frequencies, or a waveform that traces the sound itself, in the colour you pick and over the cover image you choose.
The analysis is a real FFT of your audio, not a random animation, so the bars actually follow the music: bass on the left, treble on the right. Rendering draws 30 frames per second of audio, so a few minutes of music takes a little time on a phone; a still image is much faster if you only need an upload wrapper.

How large a video can I use?
Because the video is processed on your device, the limit is your device's memory rather than a server quota. Phone clips of several hundred MB are fine on most devices, and desktop computers usually handle 1 to 2 GB. Files over about 4 GB are not supported.
Which browsers work best?
Current Chrome, Edge and Safari (16.4 or newer, including iPhone and iPad) work best because they include the WebCodecs video engine. Recent Firefox versions work for many files. Older browsers fall back to a much slower real-time mode or may not work at all.
How long does it take?
Roughly real time or faster on a modern laptop, slower on a phone. A three-minute song is a few minutes of rendering. The still image option in MP3 to MP4 is almost instant if you do not need animation.
Which looks better, bars or waveform?
Bars suit music with a strong beat. The waveform suits speech, podcasts and ambient music.
Can I make it vertical for Reels?
Yes, choose the 1080×1920 size.
