Why is my GIF so big?
GIF is an old, inefficient format. Shorten the clip, reduce the width and frame rate, or use MP4 instead.
Are screenshots the same quality as the video?
They are exported at the true video resolution. A screen grab of a playing video is lower quality and includes the controls.
