A lightweight alternative to a shared spreadsheet
Most small teams start tracking "who's doing what" in a shared spreadsheet, then watch it rot — stale rows, no sense of what's overdue, no single source of truth. An assignment tracker that lives in your browser gives you the same at-a-glance view (task, assignee, due date, status) without needing a project management account, a login, or a monthly subscription.
How to track assignments without losing data
Everything you add is saved to this browser's local storage automatically, so closing the tab or restarting your computer won't lose your list. Export to CSV whenever you want a backup or need to hand the list to someone using a different tool.
Does this sync across devices?
No — data is stored locally in this browser only. Export to CSV if you need to move your list to another device or share it with teammates.
How does it know an assignment is overdue?
Any row with a due date before today that isn't marked Done is automatically highlighted and counted in the Overdue stat — no manual flagging needed.
Can I track more than one project at once?
Yes — just use the task name or notes field to note which project each assignment belongs to, then use the search box to filter by it.
