What is an access log analyzer?
An access log analyzer reads your web server's raw request log — the file Apache, Nginx, or a CDN writes for every single hit — and turns thousands of unstructured text lines into a readable summary: which IPs hit you hardest, which status codes fired, which paths are hottest, and which hours saw the most traffic.
Common Log Format vs Combined Log Format
Common Log Format includes IP, timestamp, request line, status code, and response size. Combined Log Format adds the referrer and user-agent fields. This tool auto-detects either format line by line.
Is my log data uploaded anywhere?
No. Parsing happens with JavaScript in your own browser tab. The file never touches a server.
How are bots detected?
The user-agent string is matched against known crawler signatures (Googlebot, Bingbot, AhrefsBot, SemrushBot, and dozens more) to separate human from automated traffic.
