Pulling real email addresses out of messy pasted text

Email signatures, exported chat logs, scraped web pages, and forwarded threads all tend to bury valid email addresses inside a lot of irrelevant text. Scanning for the actual email pattern and extracting every match, deduplicated, turns that mess into a clean usable list in seconds.

Why deduplication matters here specifically

The same address often appears multiple times across a signature block repeated through an email thread or a document with the same contact mentioned several times — deduplicating automatically means you get a clean, unique list rather than the same address ten times over.

Does this validate that an email address actually exists?

No — it only checks that text matches a valid email address format; it doesn't verify the address is real or deliverable.

Is matching case-sensitive?

No — addresses are normalized to lowercase before deduplication, since email addresses are conventionally treated as case-insensitive.

Have a structured CSV list instead of messy text?

Use the Email List Cleaner instead, built for deduplicating and categorizing a structured list with domain breakdown and role-address flagging.
