How to use the Remove a Section from a Video tool

About this tool
Trimming only shortens the start and end of a video. When the part you want gone is in the middle, you normally have to split the video into pieces and merge the ones you want back together. This tool does both steps in one pass: drag the Start and End handles over the section to delete, and everything before and after it is stitched back into a single video.
The join is a normal re-encode at the quality you choose, so the cut point is exact and the two remaining pieces play as one continuous clip, not as two files glued together.

Yes — remove the first section, then use "Remove a section" again from the result screen (or the chain menu) for the next one.
Is this the same as splitting and merging?
The result is the same, but this does it in a single step instead of two separate tools.
Will there be a visible jump at the cut?
The picture cuts cleanly at your chosen points; if the two sides were very different scenes, the cut itself will still look like a hard cut, the same as it would with any editor.
