Slow motion stretches time so fast actions can be studied or enjoyed: a golf swing, a jump, a splash. This tool sets each frame to stay on screen longer, and time-stretches the audio to match without lowering its pitch.
Be realistic about the source. Slow motion only looks smooth when the original has plenty of frames. Footage recorded at 60, 120 or 240 fps (the slo-mo setting on many phones) slows beautifully; ordinary 30 fps footage at 0.25× shows visible steps because this tool does not invent in-between frames.

How large a video can I use?
Because the video is processed on your device, the limit is your device's memory rather than a server quota. Phone clips of several hundred MB are fine on most devices, and desktop computers usually handle 1 to 2 GB. Files over about 4 GB are not supported.
Which browsers work best?
Current Chrome, Edge and Safari (16.4 or newer, including iPhone and iPad) work best because they include the WebCodecs video engine. Recent Firefox versions work for many files. Older browsers fall back to a much slower real-time mode or may not work at all.
What is the best speed for slow motion?
0.5× looks natural from 30 fps footage. 0.25× needs 60 fps or more to look smooth. 0.1× to 0.15× needs 120 or 240 fps.
Can I slow down just one part of a video?
Trim or split the part first, change its speed, and then merge the pieces back in order.
