Temp File Analyzer
Upload a CSV listing of files with size and last-modified date, set an age and size threshold, and see exactly how much space you'd reclaim.
How to use Temp File Analyzer
- Start by providing the required input: Drop a CSV with name, size, and last-modified columns. Use Load Sample to try example data first.
- Set the inputs and options shown here: Older than (days), Larger than (MB) — optional.
- Run the tool with Analyze.
- Review the results, then choose an output control: Export Cleanup Candidates.
Deciding what's safe to clean up based on age, not guesswork
"This cache folder is huge" doesn't tell you what's safe to remove — age and size together do. Setting an age threshold (older than N days) and an optional size threshold against an exported file listing surfaces exactly which files are both old and large enough to be worth reclaiming.
Working from an export instead of live files
This is built for situations where you have a CSV listing of files (from a server admin tool, a backup system, or a custom export) with size and date columns, rather than the actual files themselves in your browser.
What columns does my CSV need?
A name/file column, a size column (in bytes), and a last-modified or date column — column names are matched automatically from common variants.
How is "space reclaimable" calculated?
The sum of file sizes for every row that matches both your age and size thresholds at once.
Have real files instead of a CSV export?
Use the Temp File Scanner instead, which scans actual uploaded files by junk-filename pattern.
