How to use Workflow Templates
- Use these example values as a starting point: Add a custom step.
- No additional settings need to be configured.
- Run the tool with ${t.title} ${t.steps.length} steps.
- Review the results, then choose an output control: Export as Text, Export as Markdown.
Starting from a known-good process instead of a blank page
Common processes — onboarding, content publishing, bug triage, releases — have well-established steps that most teams reinvent slightly differently each time. Starting from a ready-made template and adjusting it to your own process is faster than listing every step from memory and catching what you missed later.
Customizing before you export
Every preset step can be removed, and you can add your own steps on top before exporting, so the final checklist reflects your actual process rather than a generic version of it.
Can I edit a preset's steps?
You can remove any step and add new ones, giving you a fully customized version of the preset before you export it.
Which export format should I use?
Markdown if you'll paste it into Notion, GitHub, or a wiki; plain text if you want something simple to print or paste into an email.
Is there a way to save my customized version for reuse?
For a fully custom, reusable, save/reload-capable template, use the Workflow Template Creator instead — it's built specifically for that.
