Sheet Standardizer
Define one canonical schema, map each file's columns onto it, and standardize a whole batch of CSVs at once — ready for consistent downstream processing.
How to use Sheet Standardizer
- Start by providing the required input: Drop multiple CSV files.
- Set the inputs and options shown here: Canonical schema (comma-separated column names).
- Run the tool with Standardize All Files.
- Review the completion message and check your browser downloads for the generated file or archive.
Getting multiple exports onto one consistent schema at once
When several CSV files are supposed to represent the same kind of data but came from different sources — different teams, different export tools — their column names and order rarely match exactly. Mapping each file's actual columns onto one canonical schema, in a single batch operation, produces a consistent set of files ready for further processing.
Why this works file-by-file within one canonical schema
Defining the target schema once and then mapping each file's specific columns to it independently handles the common real-world case where every source file uses slightly different naming for conceptually the same fields.
What if a file is missing one of the canonical columns entirely?
Leave that mapping blank for that file — the output will simply have an empty value in that column for every row from that file.
How many files can I standardize at once?
No fixed limit — map and standardize as many files as you need in one batch.
Just need to remap one file's columns?
Use the simpler Column Mapper instead for a single-file remap.
